You can perform a self-test to diagnose printer issues and confirm proper functionality. This test prints out the current printer status and configuration details, helping you identify any problems with paper installation, print quality, or system settings before processing transactions.

Self-test

The self-test checks are as follows:

  1. Make sure the paper roll has been installed properly.

  2. Turn on the power while holding down the Feed button. The self-test begins. The self-test prints the current printer status. After printing the current printer status, self-test printing will print the following and pause: SELF TEST PRINTING. PLEASE PRESS PAPER FEED BUTTON.

  3. Press the Feed button to continue printing. The self-test automatically ends and cuts the paper after printing the following: **End Self-Test**.

  4. Reboot the printer again to revert settings back to Print Mode.
