Control receipt printing directly from individual terminals to temporarily disable or enable printing without accessing the back office. This is useful during paper shortages, printer maintenance, or when receipts aren't needed at specific locations. You can also verify the current printing status to confirm whether receipts are active or disabled.
If Receipts aren’t printing at a specific location, or you wish to disable the printing temporarily, this can be done via the till terminal itself.
Disable or enable receipt printing
To disable or enable receipt printing, follow the steps below:
Log in to the Newbridge terminal.
Navigate to Functions, then select Managers.
Select Receipt Printing On/Off button.
Check receipt printing status
To check the printing status of the terminal, follow the steps below:
On the terminal navigate to Settings, Printer Settings, then select Disable Receipt Printing.
The status is shown on screen as either:
False = Receipts will Print.
True = Receipts will not Print.
