You can accept vouchers as payment by entering the voucher code at the point of sale. The system displays the available balance and gives you flexible redemption options—you can use the full voucher amount, redeem a partial amount, or cancel the transaction. This guide walks you through the voucher redemption process and explains when to use each redemption option.
Redeem a voucher
To redeem a voucher, follow the steps below:
Select the Smart Gift Voucher or GuestVoucher Payment Type.
Enter the Voucher Code.
After entering the code, the value of the voucher is shown on screen with the options to:
Redeem: You can Redeem to use the full amount of the voucher. If the bill total is lower than the amount available on the voucher, they will be left with a remainder that can be redeemed later.
Redeem Amount: You can Redeem Amount, which will let you choose how much of the voucher to use against the bill.
Cancel: To not use the voucher.
Follow the instructions on the screen and confirm your action.
