Link Newbridge Products to GuestVoucher or Fix “No Smartgift Product Created”

You can link a Newbridge product to GuestVoucher and resolve the “No smartgift product created” error in a few simple steps.

Before Experience Vouchers—such as Afternoon Tea—can be redeemed via the tills, the Product ID from Newbridge must be linked to a Revenue Center within GuestVoucher/SmartGift.

Before you begin

Before starting, ensure that:

  • You have access to Newbridge Dashboard to retrieve the Product ID.

  • You have access to GuestVoucher or SmartGift Dashboard with permission to view and edit Settings and Revenue Centers.


Link a Newbridge product to GuestVoucher

To link a Newbridge product to GuestVoucher or SmartGift, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Product ID in Newbridge

  1. Log in to Newbridge back office.

  2. Go to Dashboard, then select Till Programming, then Products.

  3. Find the relevant product and note the product ID.

  4. Log in to GuestVoucher.

Step 2: Revenue centers in GuestVoucher

A Revenue Center should be created for each Product being linked. Only 1 Product can be linked per Revenue Center.

You can set up a revenue center using the following steps:

  1. Log in to GuestVoucher or SmartGift.

  2. Go to Settings, then Revenue Centers.

  3. Create a new Revenue Center.

  4. Select Create New.

  5. Complete all required fields:

    • Name: Enter a unique name.

    • Mapping Code: Used mainly with the Sales Data API.

    • Product Code: Enter the Newbridge Product ID you noted earlier.

    • Tax Rate: Select the correct rate from the configured drop-down options.

  6. Select Create to finish linking the product.

You can edit a revenue center using the following steps:

  1. Log in to GuestVoucher or SmartGift.

  2. Go to Settings, then Revenue Centers.

  3. Under Actions, select the blue Edit icon.

  4. Update the Product Code field.

  5. Select Update to save changes.
