Create customer bookings through the ResDiary integration on your POS terminal, streamlining your reservation process. This allows you to manage table bookings at the point of sale without needing to access a separate device or application.
Before you begin
Before you begin, ensure you have:
Access to a Newbridge POS till
A valid Clerk PIN for signing in
The necessary customer booking details
Create a ResDiary booking
To create a ResDiary booking, follow the steps below:
Sign on to the till using your Clerk PIN.
Navigate to Functions, Application, then ResDiary Create Booking.
In the Booking tab, complete the required information, including:
ResDiary area
Date
Service
Arrival time
Select the Details tab, complete the required information, including:
Contact email
Comments.
Press Confirm once all mandatory details are entered.
When the Booking Confirmed message shows on screen, note the Booking Reference for customer communications.
