Another Back office bundle of updates from the last couple of weeks. We're pleased to announce some feature enhancements to our table plan editor. You can now create circular tables and change the image behind the table plan from the editor, subject to EPoS version.

What’s New

  • Circular tables: Now when editing the table plan you will see a new button on each table that flips it from a square to a circle. They also have a dotted border so that when positioning a circular table on the grid it remains easy to line them up.

  • Table plan backgrounds: You can now upload an image to display behind the table plan, this has always been possible for a support engineer to do for you, but it was manually through the till and required a local image file to be stored. Now you can change the image yourselves whenever you like. Please note, this does require the latest version of the POS to display.

  • Room Column: The transaction viewer now has an additional column for room number/name. This will show which room the transaction was posted to.

Enhancements

  • Table plan creation: The default size for tables has now been reduced, as well as the padding and margins. This means when creating a new location, you can mass-create 70 at a time! (used to be 30)

  • Stock count sheet: The stock count sheet will not show the SKU size next to each product.

  • Order number: The OrderNumber has been added to the discount audit report, making it much easier to match up till receipts with the backoffice.

Bug Fixes

  • App availability: There is now a dropdown box with a plain English Yes/No option for making a table location appear on online ordering apps.

  • Instant saving: You can now reliably move and resize tables without some actions not saving. This does mean that there is a momentary save screen after each move, but ensures that no work is lost after exiting the page.

  • Table validation: Extra validation has been added all over the table plan editor, ensuring that you don't run in to any bugs or oddities.

  • Stock emails: You can now send an order to multiple supplier emails, or even attach yourself. This can be useful for ensuring the supplier has received the order email. Simply separate each email address with a comma.

  • Stock Period report: If you are a single site company, the report will now default to your site meaning you can instantly select a stock period.

*Our Backoffice updates are instantly visible to all customers with no update required.
