After you create a product, use the product overview page to view all your products at a glance and to search any product created to be able to edit, delete, or check before creating a new product.

How to access the product screen

To access the product screen, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Newbridge Back office, entering your username and password.

  2. Select Till Programming, then select Products.

Sort and filter products

All columns can be filtered by pressing the up and down arrow in the column header, including:

  • ID - Automatically populated when you create a new product.

  • Product description - Type to narrow down the search.

  • Supplier code - Will show if entered.

  • Barcode - Auto-populated when you create a product and are linked to the product ID. This is useful if you use barcode scanners with your Point of Sale system.

  • Department and Sub-Department - Areas that you have created to contain and file your products and modifiers.

  • Type - Shows if the item is a product or a modifier. The only difference is how they behave when printing.

  • Supplier - Shows which supplier you have assigned to the product.

  • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) - The unit assigned to the product, such as pack of 6, each, recipe, or parent product.

  • Tax Rate - Shows the VAT rate assigned and can be edited per individual product.

  • Price - The selling price.

  • Info - Activity tracker used to monitor which users have altered each product with a timestamp.
