Create and manage tax rates to ensure your products are charged correctly according to government regulations. Configure tax percentages and update rates as needed to maintain compliance with current tax laws.
β οΈ Important: You can create and delete tax rates to meet your business needs. It is your responsibility to maintain and adjust these rates in accordance with government regulations.
Creating a new tax rate
To create a new tax rate, follow the steps below:
Log in to the Newbridge Back office, entering your username and password.
Navigate to Till Programming then Tax Rates.
Click New to create a new tax rate.
Enter the Description name for the tax rate.
Enter the Tax Amount.
π€ Tip: For example, enter 20.00 for 20%.
Click Create.
Edit tax rates
To edit tax rules, follow the steps below:
Log in to the Newbridge Backoffice, entering your username and password.
Navigate to Till Programming then Tax Rates.
Click on the ID of the tax rate you want to modify.
Choose the appropriate option, then click Save.
